Last Minute Simple Halloween Tricks & Treats
"SPOOKY" season is here, as most like to call it. Whether you're planning to host a "spook-tacular" dinner on All Hallows Eve or just pass out candy, there's nothing we love more than sprucing up our home for this mysterious holiday. It is such a magical time of year... spirits are high, and it's important to make sure your home is feeling just as festive as you are. We've gathered a few simple last minute ideas to get your home Halloween ready!

TIP #1

PUMPKINS

Fresh pumpkins and gourds are a must have to have on your patio, doorsteps, entryway and or kitchen island. More pumpkins the better!

A favorite for fall—pick your favorite or pick them all. MacKenzie-Childs Pumpkin's will instantly spice up your autumn decor on Halloween, Thanksgiving, or just to celebrate the season. Absolutely irresistible!

Shimmery pumpkins are still Halloween showstoppers and they last longer than your average carved pumpkins. Use fall hues to glitter your pumpkins for a magical display.

TIP #2

TREATS

Festive candy bowls or different sized clear jars filled with candy are a must have to be placed in your entry way! It's always a great way to greet your ghostly guests with delightful treats. Don't forget the traditional candy corn! ;]

Lantern-O-Treats

Get double duty out of your jack-o'-lantern by using it as a glowing candy bowl.

If you want to give something a little more to your trick-or-treaters this year than just the ordinary candy corn and chocolate bars. Here are a couple fun ideas for you to hand out!

Spooky Hands

Purchase food handler gloves, and fill the glove with M&M's and popcorn of your choosing. Tie off with orange or black ribbon.
Cookies
Bake bite-sized cookies and add a Hershey's Kiss to make some Witch Hat's.
The kids love it!

TIP #3

THE THEME

Halloween is more than just one night, it's a look that can be celebrated all season long. Halloween is such a versatile holiday because it can kick off your fall decorating and carry you through Thanksgiving.

Some people are just not that into the Halloween spirit and would much rather celebrate autumn. If an autumn/fall look is more your style, one idea is to add fresh twigs mixed with sunflowers gives your home more of a "calm" fall look. If you want to step it up a little just add cobwebs and spiders for that eerie Halloween touch!

What could be more "fall-tastic" than pumpkin centerpieces displayed with autumn flowers? The combinations are nearly endless.
